Leading the way for Auto Recyclers. This year’s conference delivered.

The 2019 Auto Recyclers Conference Overview

The 2019 Auto Recyclers Conference was attended by over 100 delegates in Melbourne, Australia this September. With representatives from a wide spectrum of the industry and the global auto recycling community in attendance.

Hosted and Presented by Hollander International and APRAA (Auto Parts Recycling Association of Australia) we are delighted to share that this year’s event successfully built on the 2018 Auto Recyclers Conference and ensured attending delegates were served with a range of topics and discussion points that are relevant to where our industry is today and helping prepare Auto recyclers for the future. Something we are pleased to say over 90% of attendees were in agreement with.

Delighting Delegates and Recyclers

“Such a great conference. The agenda was very beneficial for us” Yaji-san –JARA Corporation Director/General Manager

Themed “leading the way” this year’s conference featured key speakers that are leaders in their fields, helping share best practice or industry insight that is unrivalled. Attendees were given insight and deeper understanding to the key threats and opportunities facing our industry as well as operational and technological advancement opportunities that are now available through many supporting vendors.

Hollander International structured this year’s conference with the intention to format each day to meet audience expectations, Friday’s session included focused content and topics aimed at helping yard owners and business decision makers. The second day of the conference, Saturday focused on Operational aspects and working practices within an auto dismantling business.

This has proved to be a successful change and delegate feedback has confirmed this to be the correct approach, crucially 97% of attendees stated they would book to attend a future event and 93% of attendees believe the conference provided value for money.

However, no conference can be a success without the individuals and businesses that support it. Our headline partner APRAA invested significantly in supporting to present this year’s conference through their attendance, contributions and engagements throughout the event. Additionally, our Platinum Sponsor All Auto Recalls played a key role in educating delegates on the importance of auto part safety and share information on the industry-leading integration available within Pinnacle Professional. A personal thanks to Chris Daglis who played a key role in organising this year’s event but also hosting across the conference.
